Georginia-South forms part of the larger Georginia, just North of the Georginia Railway Station, and adjacent to the Roodepoort City Centre. This specific residential area lies in the beautiful Roodepoort/Florida Greenbelt that collects rain and stormwater that feed the Hamburg Dam and just 100 metres lower down, Florida Lake. This low-lying area is a sight for sore eyes for nature lovers, and nature itself prefer to reside here, as beautiful birds congregate during the summer, chirping in festive song.
